The Barnwell family real estate business began in 1921 in Los Angeles with B.B. Barnwell. We have been in Santa Barbara as an independent appraisal firm since 1973 with Brian Barnwell, grandson, as the principal appraiser. We use the latest and most extensive data services available along with a full array of technological methods of delivery and development.

Brian is a Certified-General Real Estate Appraiser with the State of California.  He was a licensed General Contractor for several years and is certified with the State of California to teach real estate appraisal courses at the local Santa Barbara City College.
